Allow me to properly introduce myself. I am a 20-something teacher who has a passion for trying every Pinterest recipe known to man kind. About a year ago, I woke up with a bit of a revelation. I was not happy with the way I looked and how I felt about myself. Living for over a decade with zero confidence and social anxiety had begun to take its tole on me.
With that being said, I finally began working on a goal that had been in the back of my mind for years. Something I had little to no motivation to do, mainly because I did not think I would ever see the results I wanted to. Weight loss. For as long as I can remember, I have been on the heavier side. This has greatly impacted my self confidence and relationships with others.
A year later, I am finally beginning to see the results I have always wanted to. It started with cutting out sweets and taking walks. Since then, I have increased my fruit and vegetable intake, and searched for healthy recipes. And that's what brings us to the purpose of this blog. I plan on sharing the recipes I create with my audience. I've even tried a few vegan and dairy free dessert recipes that no longer make me feel guilty about eating a delicious cookie every now and then.
I know right now I'm pretty much talking to myself, but it is my hope that this blog reaches an audience of women and men who may be seeking a way to improve their lifestyles as well. We are all in this journey together.
